SKADDEN ARPS PARTNER JOINS CALVARY FUND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
BRONX, NY, May 31, 2011 – Calvary Hospital today announced that Eileen T. Nugent, a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, has joined the Board of Directors of The Calvary Fund. The Fund directs all fundraising efforts in support of Calvary’s unique and historic mission.

Ms. Nugent is currently a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions department, head of the Private Equity Group, and New York office leader for the law firm, Skadden Arps. She has worked on a wide variety of acquisitions and dispositions of companies, subsidiaries and divisions, both public and private, hostile and negotiated, in the United States and around the world. The breadth of Ms. Nugent’s experience has resulted in her being increasingly regarded as a senior legal, business and strategic advisor to her clients.
She is a highly sought after lecturer and panelist for the Practising Law Institute, ALI-ABA and other M&A Seminars; has taught M&A classes at Harvard Law School, Cornell Law School and the NYU School of Law; is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Virginia School of Law; and co-authored the well-known treatise, “Negotiated Acquisitions of Companies, Subsidiaries and Divisions.”
Ms. Nugent was graduated from Brooklyn Law School and Cornell University. She is admitted to the Bar in New York and New Jersey.
