CALVARY HOSPITAL HOSTS ANNUAL PASTORAL CARE DAY
BRONX, NEW YORK, October 2009 – A crowd of more than 140 chaplains, pastoral care providers, doctors, nurses, and social workers attended Calvary Hospital’s third annual Pastoral Care Day on October 29th. Attendees had the opportunity to earn 4.5 CPE continuing education credits and heard from an interfaith panel of recognized clinical pastoral care experts including: Rev. Dr. Beth Faulk Glover, New York Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell, Dr. Daniel G. O’Hare, S.J., Rev. Trudi Jinpu Hirsch, Certified chaplain and Zen Buddhist Priest in the White Plum Sangha, and Rabbi Shira Stern, Center for Pastoral Care and Counseling, Marlboro, NJ.
