Bronx Resident Honored for Her Professional Excellence

BRONX, NEW YORK, July 2013 – Calvary Hospital recently honored Bronx resident,

The nomination forms for Yvette from colleagues and patients’ family members included comments such as:

  • “Extraordinary skill and observation ability to be proactive.  She exudes an atmosphere of safety and caring.”
  • “Always cheerful, gracious and caring.  She is never frustrated or impatient, and is always encouraging and empathetic.”
  • “She always comes and checks that everything is okay; I love her.”

Yvette first joined Calvary in 2007 as a nurse’s aide and graduated from the Hospital’s trademark Cancer Care Technician program that same year.  She was born and raised in the country of Jamaica and emigrated to the U.S. in 1993.  Yvette and her family reside in the Bronx.
