Calvary Hospital Holds Ribbon Cutting for Kosher Hospitality Room & Shabbos Lounge

Calvary Hospital held a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 3rd for the Kosher Hospitality Room and Shabbos Lounge at the Hospital’s Bronx campus. More than 110 people attended the joyous occasion. Yeshiva University and Chesed 24/7 participated in the ceremony as well.
One year ago, Calvary and Yeshiva University/RIETS announced a collaboration to provide the observant Jewish community with information and options for end-of-life care in accordance with Jewish law. Chesed 24/7, which sponsors the Hospital’s Kosher Hospitality Room, recognized Calvary for its efforts on behalf of the Jewish community.
Each year, the Hospital cares for hundreds of Jewish patients at their Bronx hospital, 25-bed Brooklyn Satellite at Lutheran Medical Center, as well as with home care and home hospice throughout the greater New York area. Pictured (left to right):
