Calvary Hospital's Center for Curative & Palliative Wound Care is setting the standard of care for those patients suffering with chronic wounds. Our aim is to improve their quality of life through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to symptoms typically associated with chronic wounds. These symptoms include pain, infection, odor, exudate, anxiety, and depression. In addition to clinical expertise, Calvary Hospital's faculty has extensive teaching and research experience in all aspects of wound care, with numerous publications, Phase 2 through Phase 4 clinical trials and presentations at national and international meetings. Through the Palliative Care Institue (PCI), the Center for Curative & Palliative Wound Care offers a variety of educational opportunities including seminars, symposia and on-site training in the clinical and pyschosocial management of the chronic wound patient.
