John Haley Appointed Calvary’s Chief Development Officer

Calvary Hospital has appointed John Haley as its Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer. A fundraising leader with 35 years of experience in New York City, Haley will lead the Calvary philanthropic strategy as the organization expands its inpatient and community-based palliative and hospice care programs.

A Bronx native and Fordham University graduate, Haley joins Calvary after holding leadership roles in historic campaigns at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and strengthening fundraising for RiverSpring Living’s senior care and support services in Riverdale. His deep roots in the community and extensive expertise will bolster Calvary’s 126-year-old mission.

“John’s unwavering commitment to mission-driven philanthropy and his strategic acumen are a perfect match for Calvary,” said Michael J. Fosina, FACHE, President of Calvary. “His distinguished career shows a talent for inspiring support and translating vision into action, which will be invaluable as we continue to advance our compassionate and innovative end-of-life care.”

“The philosophy of caring for the whole person, which has guided my career, perfectly aligns with Calvary’s values. I am humbled and energized to support this vital work and contribute to this wonderful community,” Haley said.
