National Nurses Week
May 6-12, 2019

From May 6-12, many hospitals marked National Nurses Week in some way. Calvary Hospital decided that their nurses deserved more than one week’s spotlight. Beginning the week of April 29, Calvary initiated a four-week focus on outstanding nurses who work at their four inpatient facilities and for Calvary@Home, which provides hospice and home care wherever the patients reside.

The four nurses spotlighted to date have included:

• Gislene Noel, RN, who works for Calvary@Home at Ozanam Hall of Queens Nursing Home

• Kwabena Agyeman, RN, Clinical Care Coordinator at the Hospital’s Bronx campus
